These horses took on some really exciting surface textures in the wood kiln! They're exactly the same clay, and were left unglazed; the difference in color comes purely from where they were inside the kiln. The blueish one was right up by the firebox, and the yellowish one was further back and didn't get hit with quite as much intensity. Aaaaaaahhhh I love ceramics.
Blue guy has one foot raised, and is therefore a little more prone to falling over. Just don't put the little guy on, like, a skateboard or something ykno.
Cone 10 woodfired porcelain, they stand about 3" tall.
